   Oklahoma State University

GRADUATE STUDY

The main research effort of the Bollenbach Chair involves direction of graduate student research leading to the M.S. or Ph.D. degree. Students matriculating under the Chair generally receive a monthly stipend and full support of research activities (supplies, equipment, travel). The Chair recruits students for specific projects.

The Department of Natural Resource Ecology and Management plans to offer the M.S. and Ph.D. degree in Natural Resource Ecology and Management with options in Fire Ecology and Management and Wildlife Ecology and Management, among other options.  For current offerings, visit NREM.  Students also have access to M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Environmental Science.

Generally, the Bollenbach Chair prefers students with a GPA above 3.0 and GRE scores (verbal plus quantitative) above 1,000. Prospective students will, however, be considered on an individual basis. The Bollenbach Chair welcomes applications from qualified students with majors outside of biology or wildlife ecology.

Contact the Bollenbach Chair to determine the availability of assistantships.
